The finest 100 % blue agave Tequila is harvested from plants that range from 10-12 years.

Unlike other plata tequilas, Gran Centenario Plata is aged for 28 days in new French Limousin oak barrels. This unique aspect of gentle aging adds a light, mellow oakiness to the spirit, rounding out the palate, and producing a smooth finish that is not usually found in plata/silver/blanco tequilas.

Clear, with a pale straw yellow cast, Gran Centenario Plata displays subtle scents of herbal agave, black pepper, lime, pear, lemon meringue pie, vanilla, cocoa, and oak. In the mouth, you will find Gran Centenario creamier than most Platas. A mild, supple entry leads to a dry medium-bodied palate with delicate flavors of toast, vanilla, vegetal agave, herbaceous sandalwood, cinnamon, and black pepper. The tequila finishes with dry and smooth with hints of smoke, dried fruit, and peppery spice.

Gran Centenario Plata is smooth enough to enjoy straight in a snifter and serves as a particularly excellent as a cocktail base when paired with herbal liqueurs and citrus fruits.
