Named after Abraham Lincoln’s Kentucky boyhood home, Knob Creek is the longest aged Bourbon in Jim Beam’s “Small Batch Bourbon Collection,” which also includes Booker’s, Baker’s, and Basil Hayden’s.

When Booker Noe fathered the small batch movement over two decades ago, he created Knob Creek with the vision of representing the look, taste, and feel of pre-prohibition bourbon. Today, Knob Creek is still made in small batches, aged 9 years in deeply charred American Oak barrels to fully draw out the natural sugars, and then hand bottled at 100 proof – to reflect the flavor, strength and patience that defined pre-prohibition whiskey.

Knob Creek 9 Year Old Small Batch Bourbon is a dark amber in color and displays lush aromas of freshly roasted nuts, cereal grain, honey, dark toffee, maple sugar and sweet oak. On the palate, Knob Creek is full-bodied, smooth and sweet, with layered flavors of caramel, oak, dried fruits, and a touch of honey. The finish is long and rich, with a nice kick, and lasting, nuanced fruit notes.

Sip Knob Creek neat, on the rocks, open it up with a drop of water, or make one of your favorite classic cocktails a little bolder.

At 100 proof, Knob Creek is as close to perfection as any bourbon on the market. -The Book of Bourbon

Knob Creek is definitely an after-dinner, straight, served-neat, maybe-a-few-drops-of-water,sitting-in-front-of-the-fire, petting-the-Irish-Setter whiskey. -Spirit Journal
